The Dildo Of Consequences Rarely Arrives Lubricated - Live By The Sword

On October 21, tech journalist Kara Swisher, a Democrat journalist, who has spent three decades trying to figure out what Elon Musk actually does all day, sat down with *The Bulwark* and casually described the future prosecution of a political opponent as an upcoming event once the right people hold the gavels.

“Under Kamala Harris, he might be in jail right now,” she said of Elon Musk. “There were a lot of questions around different companies of his.” If Republicans lose the House and Senate, she continued. “You think he’s not on the list? He’s at the top of that list.” She added that Musk “knows what’s coming for him. And real hard.”

Musk replied in two words: “Message received.”

To the broader talk of renewed congressional probes, he added “Live by the sword, die by the sword. Sounds like Swisher really wants to go to prison.”

Twenty-four hours later he invested roughly $1 billion in Skydance, the company created when Paramount completed its $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery on October 6.

That entity now owns CNN, CBS, HBO, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., the streaming services, and a long list of cable networks.

Witch hunt is over. Whether that means less woke slop from the rest of the portfolio remains to be seen.
